This video shows the implementation of an pitch turf heating system for the MOSiR urban sports and recreation center Katowice/Poland. ELEKTRA VCD heating cables have been applied for this purpose, with the total heating output power of the developed system amounting to over 770 kW. The entire system is supplied through two electric switchboards located at the edge of the pitch. This heating system has been laid over a drainage layer at the depth of 20 cm. It is divided into five sections and controlled via ELEKTRA ETN4 1999 temperature controllers, with temperature sensors mounted inside the pitch.
