The Elektra MB heating mats are designed for heating synthetic or natural stadium turf and they feature a double-side powered Elektra VC heating cable attached to a plastic net which is 1 meter wide and with length corresponding to the stadium width dimension. This solution allows to considerably reduce the time needed for the installation of the heating system, as mats are unrolled directly on the stadium and placed on a base substructure prepared earlier.
Because the Elektra MB mat can be powered either by 230V phase voltage or by 400V phase-to-phase voltage, wye/delta-circuits can be switched and thus small or large heat output connected.
Elektra MB mats are to be laid along the shorter side of the stadium, next to each other. This arrangement ensures a proper distance between the heating cables of the mats. Power supply should be only at one side of the stadium (the longer side). Elektra MB heating mats are provided with standard 2.5-metre power supply cables. Heating mats with custom-length power supply cables may be ordered, which allows a direct connection to the power supply point (power distribution centre).
